Horse movement is bad

Its either full speed or no speed at all, and also you have to point your joystick in the direction youre travelling in, unlike the first game, is it a known issue or is my savefile bugged?

its a you issue.
Machine you ride can go in any speed from slow walk to full sprint, and it can follow the roads to target exactly like in HZD.

Do what i do. Ignore the Mounts. There are tons of campfires.

Well i enjoy riding through the scenery, so would very much like it if it wasnt so awkward

i find that turning off the "mount follows road" option tends to make them not as much of a pain in the ass to control, but it could just be me
