Overdraw?

I've seen overdraw mentioned on weapons before but not sure what it is exactly or how to utilize it. Anyone able to shed some light? cheers

I think its when your keep your bow drawn at one point it will give a short glint where it adds damage.

you arrow will flash when you have your overdraw

Keep aiming until you:
1) Hear clicking sound
2) See your arrow glow blue
or probably the best one 3) Your reticle will have 4 lines around the circle in X shape, instead of 2 horizontal ones.
There is also visual indication how close you are to reaching overdraw, like shadow circle closing in on your main one on reticle.

You see it in Reticle when you draw. Its comes shortly after it stops shrinking

Also keep in mind that its a basic shot, it doesnt work with certain weapon techniques like Focus Shot.

rule of thumb - 1 second after you completely draw the bow triggers an overdraw. And some arrows have visible cues like explained above.
