Missing Overrides after defeating cauldrons
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? After I defeated the first cauldron from the story it's supposed to grant you 3 override-able machines Plowhorn, Grimhorn, and Bristleback. Yet when I went into the base to look at those overrides, only the Plowhorn was visible, everything else was marked with "?". So far I haven't been focusing on unlocking those overrides so I didn't think much of it until I had an itch to get a Clawstrider. I then finished Cauldron IOTA to get that override and it did pop-up as a machine that I can override after finishing it. However going back to the base to see the parts I needed to unlock it only the Ravager, Bellowback, Rollerback, Skydrifter, and Snapmaw was available, everything else was marked "?". Please help.

Are you sure you have scanned instances of the machines which are shown as "?"

That was my first thought as well

After defeating an Cauldron, you need to collect some parts from the machines you may override, latter on you need those parts to 'repair the corrupt override' or something like that on a special location. Only then you can use the override (unlike in ZD).

he knows that... did you read it?

If you scan a machine, it says which Cauldron you need to unlock the override. If it does not say 'unlocked' then you need to find the right Cauldron. Not all machines can be overridden like the 'Apex' ones. And I was confused too, seeing a lot of machines unlocked... but maybe not all machines require parts collected to repair the override.

Yes I have. I'm like level 30 I think and already scanned most of the machines.

As you can see I have already unlocked the Plowhorn and Ravager but everything to the right is marked "?".

This is weird. Do unlocks happen automatically if you already have the parts?

I got the widemaw from a different cauldron without having to do any research on it, but I keep reading that it's a corrupted override that has to be completed at that certain place. (I remember seeing it and thinking that it was weird they'd just give me that machine but lock a Fanghorn behind a corruption task.)

They don't happen automatically but if the override is available and you have the parts then you can "craft" it right away

Did you ever figure out why you couldn't override clawstriders? I'm actually playing on Playstation 5 and can't do it after clearing the IOTA cauldron.
