could play yesterady with windows8 mode but not today crash after 1minute...
4090 + i9-14900KF
You dont need windows 8 compat mode for this game. lol
If you have a laptop, check if the game is running on your GPU and not just CPU via the nvidia control panel. Also monitor your temps btw.
i don't have a laptop.
Impossible to play today, crash to desktop, or blue screen to restart.
Well... I think i have to wait an update to fix that
Do you overclock?
I read here and other forum that "high" PC configuration makes RAM or VRAM problem i don't know ...
I was waiting this game so much so I bought it probably too early, usually i wait to be sure that all bugs are fixed.
Thanks for your message

I also got the game running on the Legion Go after setting VRAM to auto in the BIOS instead of 4GB that I had before.
I hope you all get to have a smooth experience with it soon!
Try these steps:
- disable cloud storage for the game on steam
- open: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition\<user-id>\
- delete profile.dat
- launch the game
The game should create this file from scratch instead of steam cloud downloading the bad one, your setting will be set to default, but it might fix your crash.
