How bad are the underwater sections "scary" wise ?
I can't play game like subnautica and stuff like that, I think I didn't even finished Farcry 3 because of the Shark underwater sections, how scary is this game in the whole underwater monster darkness subnautica like scary section ?

There is some under water stuff but it's never scary and there is actually an accessibility setting if you're dealing with underwater fears to make the field of vision better while also giving you infinite breath regardless of upgrades.

Not in the least unless you have thalassophobia (serious fear of deep bodies of water), visibility is a bit reduced with a dim blues/greens there is no more of a jump scare issue than stumbling on a machine on the surface. There is even an option in the accessibility settings for thalassophobia to try and alleviate the problem for those that suffer from that.

That's higly subjective.
For me, they are no problem - aside from being a bit frustrating from limited mobility and no combat options- but then I do not suffer from thalassophobia.
If underwater sections in games generally scare you, then they will probably scare you in HFW.
There's no underwater combat. And once you got your jurryrigged Mad Max -themed scuba gear there's no time limit for staying under water like there is in Subnautica.
You will have to aviod detection by machines while udner water as you can't shoot back, but that's pretty easy and basic.
Wait until the Snapmaw turns its back on you, then swim to the next patch of kelp. Rinse and repeat.

In short. It's pretty tame, but if the idea of being under water in itself triggers a phobia in you, then you will not enjoy those moments.

Most underwater sections are easy and no danger at all

There was so far only underwater section where you have to try to hide from swimming robots, that might be a bit tense. Though hiding is pretty lenient.

If you get to Poseidon, maybe somebody can play that mission for you. Maybe ask a friend or so? There are also some dives from Side Mission and 'Treasure Hunts' for Green shards.

I didn't think I had Thalassophobia until I played this game. Had to turn on the Thalassophobia accessibility setting once the game got to sunken caves. The Poseidon mission was horror. I cried and almost quit. It was also frustrating because navigation is very unclear and there are enemies in the water that you can't fight, you can only hide. And don't get me started on how terrifying it gets when you actually reach the ocean.

So, personally, I found/find the diving aspect.... not great. Even with the accessibility setting. You rarely HAVE to deal with it, but you do miss out on gear, treasure, collectibles, and quests if you can't deal with it.

The only tip I have is: don't go diving at night. Always wait until there's daylight. It makes it marginally more bearable.
