That's cool and all but where is my "Mark of Straight" face paint??? I want to be represented too!!!

As a proud and independent member of the Straight community I feel that we are not properly represented enough in this game.

If they bother to add modern politics in to the game why not add the hole damn spectrum?
Where are all the other minorities represented? or only the gays and trans matter ?

Nope it's only fair, the male and female symbol interlocked, they get theirs why do we not get ours, they get to wave their flag in our faces every 5 seconds time we do the same.

Game developers should be forced to add the straight flag if they are going to put in the gay pride flag, it is just that simple, they have theirs, we have ours.

The game is 2 years old. They're not adding anything. You're not a minority. Your rights aren't in danger. You don't get murdered for being straight. Being serious about this would only indicate that your life is so good that you have to look for something to cry about.

Your rights are also not in danger, you are not murdered for being gay, your life is just so good that you look for something to cry about. Get a job, go outside, leave games to those who don't need to feel "represented" every single second of the day in something to validate their existence.

Okay, I guess it needs explaining. In society some groups are more or less suppressed or disadvantaged. Usually it falls onto minorities in a society and not majorities.

Because we life in a modern world many societies actively try and protect these smaller groups. Many of these groups also take it upon themselves to make their situations known, someting like pride day parades etc.

Normally you wont see this kind of behaviour from majority groups because they don't need to indicate their situation. A straight day parade of people wielding banners with "everything okay for us" would be rather hilarious I guess.

And that's why it simply makes no sense to ask for things like "all lives matter" or what OP asks for. You are not systemically disadvantaged.

Oh and as a bonus counter-argument for something I also often hear: NO, minorites don't want special rights. They want the same rights. Shocking, I know.

Cute argument, except you are either misinformed or gaslighting. Minorities do want special rights, and they are afforded special rights. If you shout after a white guy "Yo, snow skin", nobody will bat an eye. But dare use one of the "special" words to describe other races.
Also, nobody is systemically disadvantaged in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game, what world do you live in? Are enemies 25% stronger because of your sexual preferences? Why would my robot-killing adventure require gender/race/sexual orientation and why would it be limited to "certain" categories only? It's like putting country flags in a game, but refusing to add New Zealand and Latvia, because you don't like their national anthems.

Videogames are free to help in the endavor of raising awareness. You don't like it? Too bad.
