stuck in cauldron IOTA

Im stuck at a part where i have to climb across the forges to get to the core. Im using keyboard and mouse, i have to jump backwards to the next forge but no matter what i do its not letting me jump. i have changed the keybind multiple times and still nothing works.

EDIT* Im 78 hours in and this is the first time ive had an issue like this, did the update break something?

Same issue here. It seems like this jump is broken on PC.

Do you have an old gamepad laying around you can just plug in to get out?

You have to reload a savegame this section is bugged, and its not the only one, there are transforming vent ladders which often prevent you from jumping to the next ledge and since they retract quite fast you fall down and need to climb up again its really annoying, solution is going to the very corner and keep jumping up until youre good.

Took me about 20 tries but I finally got it. The window to make the jumps are very very small which means you have to hit almost perfectly…

i noticed the cauldron was buggy as well as i went to jump and glide but it wouldnt let me jump in the cauldron in a technical area

If you're talking about the part I think you are, you do not have to jump backward, you need to jump down to the elbow arm. I went around the urn thing expecting to jump backward after that, or maybe climb up on top of it, but really I needed to slide down slightly to activate a jump onto the joint.

Just did this a few hours ago so I don't believe it's bugged, just a strange section with a few awkward jumps.

Some of the jumps on PC are...for me the only very negative aspect of the game.

I abandoned one Cauldron to go back to later in the hopes that someone will shed some light on what the crack is going on with the jumping left right up sideways on PC.

I'm slow and wished there was an option to tell me which keys to press for certain jumps. Tried holding UP and RIGHT then LEFT CTRL for some jumps but that didn't do the trick either.

I did it and the trick is to push a direction movement button (right or left) but don't jump.

Yeah those transforming vent ladders are BADLY bugged, I keep trying to climb them and falling, because Aloy will not climb them properly.

You jump from the second lit vent from the top. You go to that vent...drop two down to the lit vent below, then back up to the second lit vent from the top then jump left. It worked for me.

you cant be any faster than Aloy climbs. She is REALLY slow up those vents. BUt also the main problem it isn't always clear what or where you are supposed to from them

The big problem is the game seems to be really sensitive to camera positioning when climbing vents. If it's not in exactly the right place she won't jump/move across when she should.
