Nothing crazy, but the LoD/Drawing distance seems broken at times and there are a few things that may look a bit "worse", and by that I mean I'm not even sure if that's really the case.
The problem is, I've played that game using the 30fps mode on PS5. LoD transition is basically something you don't see much at such a low framerate, but it's very noticeable at 60+. So maybe it's just me and my eyes.
The game looks gorgeous either way but I do wonder if some things are working as intended.
That said, the guy is using frame Gen and have Motion blur turned off for his PC footage (per pixel motion blur does change how some things look), so who knows.
Still, it was more interesting than I thought. Too bad OP really wanted those Jesters
I don't know why the author of this topic was banned but he is literally right.
Also, the frame generator does not lower any graphic detail, as someone below wrote saccharinely.
also, that's not how "literally" is used
Yeah ok..

and

all settings highest they will go 1440P ultrawide
this video also, same thing 4k all settings highest they will go.

The difference is they are two different encoding bit rates the two ultrawide ones are 100000 Kbps H.265 , the 4k ones are lower bit rate(mainly because I don't have a dedicated capture card for recording on the PC) if I do that same bitrate at 4k it will get overloaded.
It's going to be a lot of laughs.
Why would frame Gen and no motion blur make things look worse?
He is NOT right
We can't talk because you are banned.
And her hair has less strands as well.
Secondly some distant detail is slightly less detailed on PC as well.
The overall image quality probably is better on pc and it has some gfx settings that go a tad above the PS5, but there are some issues with some variables inside some config files that need to be tweaked as some things definitely look worse on pc at max settings.
False
I played 40 hours on PS5
PC crushes it. Not even close. Much sharper, over twice the performance
Digital Foundry misses some things at times folks, and Alex's video was more of a preview rather than an in-depth breakdown of retail code. There's plenty of issues with games they don't mention all the time, they're human. There's no close-up segment comparing Aloy on the PC version to Aloy on the PS5 in Quality mode, so using their video as a rebuttal to this one is irrelevant. There's very little direct PS5 comparisons in his video overall, the ones that are there are mainly focusing on checkerboard rendering vs. DLSS.
That GamingBolt video does indeed highlight some degradations in the PC version, and they should be brought to Nixxes's attention. Nixxes is great but not flawless either - for example, the slow texture loading for some distant buildings and cutscenes with some low-res textures in Spiderman Remastered that don't transition to their high res counterparts unless you pause the cutscene and wait for them to load were never fixed despite being brought up for years.
I suspect these are LOD issues primarily, but they're absolutely valid and should be highlighted in a forum largely dedicated to raising issues at this stage.
If you allow, I trust a demonstration video from a super reliable youtube channel more than futile chatter like yours that proves nothing.
