Am I the only one that absolutely HATES how Shellsnappers work?

Their stupid shell and even worse their garbage massive damaging shell turrets are just so unfun to deal with. If it weren't for the fact their turrets shots have no real visual noise to indicate they are there and NOT a massive explostion, they would possibly be a fun fight.

I just rather avoid these garbage enemies unless I just have to deal with one via a quest. I just can't figure out HOW to take them down effectively when they have absolutely no real weakpoints to take advantage of.

i could bypass all machines in my prev, playthrough

and then in combination with the highest machine skill ...


also poison will do a lot of damage in combination with exploive spears on almost all machines

The best way to defeat Shellsnappers is to aim for the bolts that connect the shell segments to the Shellsnapper. There's 3 bolts on each side and everytime you destroy one a big piece of the shell will fall off. This will also destroy the gun on that particular shell segment.
