[SPOILERS] So, about far zenith...
I'm just like halfway through forbidden west (I just got beta back), but... doesn't the whole earth vs. far zenith thing look a bit like israeli-palestinian conflict? I mean, if you take away the whole "wiping earth clean and kill everyone" thing, obviously.

BTW, I don't intend to flame, this is a genuine observation I was thinking while playing the game

Bro… you might want to seek some counseling if you can’t disconnect yourself from reality while engaging with a hobby designed to get you to escape from reality. Maybe stay off social media and the news and go live life instead of waiting for others to tell you how to live it

...where am I waiting for anyone to tell me how to live my life?

You are free to apply fictional stories to real-life situation as you wish, but as an analogy or allegory, this particular game doesn't really work for the conflict you mentioned.

The news cycle of this conflict has invaded your brain, and now you're seeing its shapes in every cloud.

No. It's just rich vs poor thing. More 'Elysium' like.

I see. I don't have all the information then. As far as I am in the game, it sounded similar. With the people that left a land and them other people moved in, and now the original people who lived there came back climing it (as I said in the post, i'm taking away the whole "we're going to destroy everything" thing that was said so far).

Hmmm. I'm gonna finish it and find out then.

That's not it, the premise sounded similar from where I still am in the game

I was not talking about the whole game, just about this part of a people that originally lived in a land coming back and claiming it from those that are currently living there

You shouldn't be that far from where Aloy finds out what is really going on. Its not game changing but it turns the story and things make more sense, kind of.

Yeah its not really similar since the motivations differ wildly.

Yeah its not really similar since the motivations differ wildly.

I mean, I tried to be more specific about the conflict about a people who lived in the land and is returning and other people who started living there in the meantime.

I see. So far, it is just assumed they want to use hades to destroy everything and make it from the ground up to have a biosphere more like sirius. I know nothing after that. I was naturally taking away that motivation.

The difference here is far zenith is on an island off the coast.

The intent and designs dont share much parallels other than a faction using a particular piece of land. I dont want to share more as it would spoil some things.

Nope. Just a bunch of rich snobby folk who want the planet to themselves.

I see. Then I'm too early on the game to actually get a good picture after all

@OP Erm no, it's Guerrilla recycling the plot from their Killzone games.
Imho the whole Zenith part of the game and the end revelation were terrible and took away from the setting. I wish they would have just focused on the primitive nations and kingdoms and the politics, feuds, and potential conflicts between them.
