It is a bit surprising that a Sony game wouldn't have a zero day (no pun) patch once they found out cutscenes and general gameplay FPS issues were prevalent. Hopefully we'll having something by end of month or at least within early April.

for me what i did was change my desktop to 1080p and playing the game at 4k exclusive. some reason this fixed all cutscene issues.

There is def an issue with tthe cut scenes. I have my 3090 leds set to temp and I play at 1440. My card always stays in the green to yellow but during cutscenes, it goes full red

Not sure am I just lucky but I have zero issues with cutscenes. FPS is amazing, 144fps locked 90% of time. 4070 and 13600kf

8gb of vram is the issue. Not the game. I suppose they can add a "Low Quality" setting for cutscenes for your problems.

yeah the problem is it shouldn't be a problem especially with how bad the texture look on low lol

I have 24 GB VRAM. Not the issue. Cut scenes raise my GPU temp quite a bit but gameplay temps are normal. Normally my card temp lights only go red when I play games at 4k max

It's weird that some have cutscenes problems and others do not. I never had any issues. Try disabling hags in windows

That didn’t stop them from fixing the dualsense Bluetooth issue the following day the game came out so that’s not an excuse. This needs to be addressed like yesterday.

i have a RTX 3060 and game is flawless for me. Cute scenes work perfectly. Very smooth game that looks lovely too. But i run the game on a 1080p monitor, I discovered that a lot of people have a monitor graphics card mismatch, hence they try to run a triple A on monitor that is more powerful then their graphics cards can tolerate. Perhaps this is the reason why. I have put my 1440 monitor in the closet waiting for a new graphics card when the price point drops.
