TIP: Update DLSS and Frame Generation to 3.6.0
Just a quick tip. You should update DLSS and Frame Generation to the latest version. You'll not notice a huge difference, maybe just a little bit better overall sharpness of the image, and maybe less or no stutters if you have those.

1. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-3-frame-generation-dll/

2. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

Download those two .dll files and put them in and overwrite the originals

"D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition"

MY MAN! This *fixed* the stuttering mouse / frame gen / reflex issue! Woo hoo! Frame Gen with no lagging or stuttering! You are THE MAN.

*Edit* Ok maybe I was a bit premature. It definitely helps the stuttering, but its not completely gone. But I think its gone enough that I can play the game now without noticing it.

Glad it helps. Put Reflex on ON, not on "ON + Boost" and see does that help. Also, be sure to play in "Exclusive Fullscreen" mode

Just a quick tip!
Don't bother unless you have an RTX40** card.
DLSS3 is only officially supported by the 40ty series.

Isn't it easier just to play the game at native resolution?

The advice OP posted is also accurate for all RTX GPU owner, not only RTX 40xx ones:

- File nvngx_dlss.dll is for all RTX GPU (DLSS 2 aka upscaler)
- File nvngx_dlssg.dll is for all RTX 4xxx GPU (DLSS 3 aka Frame Generation)

Shouldn't be this with NGreedia drivers???
LilDipper Mar 28, 2024 @ 4:57am
Not needed, I am using the base game dlls, aka 3.5, and have no issues, game is buttery smooth 130fps.

What GPU do you have?

there's DLSS 3.7 and DLSS FG 3.7 already, not DLSS RR yet, i'm testing it on CBPK2077

3.7 .dlls just came out in the new Streamline 2.4 sdk

You can update all the .DLLs including reflex and whatnot

Latest DLSS version is 3.6.0 and it's supported by all GPUs that have tensor cores needed to run the AI upscaler i.e. the ones with RTX in the name.
