I know about the double tap. It was the first thing I thought of as the problem. But the rolls are happening sometimes when I'm moving in a straight line, even pressure on the key. Sometimes they happen when I change direction, again no double tap. Or even randomly when I do a key combination like running. So either the problem isn't the double tap, or else the system is deciding that a double tap has happened when it hasn't.
The trouble is I actually like the double tap evade when it happens intentionally. It's good for close combat. Run and slide is ok, but the extra key combination makes it too slow for quick reaction.
