you can mount a sunwing and fly around but I was really hoping that with the override you could mount stormbirds but unfortunately you cannot. I feel cheated. okay i'm done ranting.

I'm not sure how you think it wrapped the story up then? The whole reason the bad guys were doing what they were doing was to escape from the Earth as well as the AI that destroyed the planet they'd been on. The same AI that was travelling to Earth to destroy it because they led it here. It's made clear them being dead isn't going to stop it.

so I know... when I initially asked the question I wasn't done with the game yet. I was spending the majority of my time doing all the side quests, scanning every machine, and acquiring all the collectibles.

Given your initial post it seemed like you either finished the main quest and didn't understand the story wasn't finished, or you made an assumption on incomplete info. Your response that you'd been busy finishing quests and scanning to 100% didn't add any clarity.

oh lol sorry. but yeah when you go into your journal you can see what your stats are you can get a list of things you still have to complete as far as collectibles and what not. I completed everything before finishing the final bits for the story.

You really didn't understand the story if you think it's tied up.

The game literally ends with Sylens sending Aloy off on her own looking for a weapon to fight Nemesis with.

Stormbirds are a bit much i just want a Tremortusk to ride or a Fireclaw on the ground, okay i also want a Stormbird i mean look at Jake in Avatar coming in on that big predator bird, i would also be okay if they picked Dreadwing having that come in with a strafing run when you call it.
