Yes, the Geese area I was led to was not very big, and not heavily Geesified. But if you go back and forth from end to end in the area, it will keep spawning new wildlife, including Geese.
(If there is a Machine herd in the area which is getting in your way, assuming the herd isn't marked on the map, you can probably leave the area and come back, and the machines will probably not respawn there.)
