Bottom-Left Analogue Stick Direction Not Working?
I have tried on other games and there are no issues. For some reason this game doesn't recognise the bottom-left direction on both analogue sticks on USB-wired Xbox 360 controller. Anyone else? Any suggestions?

I have the same problem: bottom-left is not working. Did you solve this?

sounds like your controller is messed up. Test it outside of the game.

Same here i am using x360 xinput emulation which is probably why it happens still sucks and it really pisses me off when i need to do platforming, all other games work fine

Steam has a controller driver ..You can change its settings in Big Picture mode. Should work for most kinds of controllers.

I have tested the same controller in three different games, no issues whatsoever. The issue is solely something to do with H:FW.

Unfortunately not, this issue seems to be extremely rare so I can't find a solution/support.

I found the solution boys, update nvidia drivers to the latest version. I know how it sounds but it fixed it for me...

Also have the latest drivers, I bought a new GPU the other day and reinstalled drivers - the issue still persists.

Found the solution for me:
I recently bought a new XBOX 360 usb-wired PC controller which I was using to play this game, as my old one was drifting. However, this one is not a genuine Microsoft controller. I have tried using my old controller which is from Microsoft themselves (I don't think they make them anymore though) and the bottom-left direction works for both analogue sticks. Therefore, it seems that any emulators or none-genuine Microsoft gamepads are throwing an input error with this game. It is still rather strange though, as I don't have this issue at all with any other game. I'd suggest purchasing a new Xbox One controller directly from Microsoft themselves and see if that works.
Found a solution:
If any of you use a third-party controller's with either Turbo or High Precision Modes force them on
P.S Clear any macros and remap it again

ok i had this problem and fixed it for me.
i have a 360 xbox generic controller on pc.

THING THAT DID'NT WORK :
-updating nvidia driver
-updating firmware of xbox
-updating controller drivers windows 11
-turn off steam input in the game property on steam library
-reboot pc

so in a last attempt, i just decided to go see the steam setting and under Controller tag, i saw that my Steam Input was turned off for all my games, so i just decided to turn in on again and turned on again the steam input in the game option himself in my library, its worked, no more bug with the south west movement with my controller

so... it seem turning off the steam input for all the game was causing the issue, maybe you have the same problem ? just make sure the steam input is on in steam option and in the game option in the library too.

I use an Wireless Advanced Switch Controller (via Bluetooth, because it's lighter and has better battery life) with reWASD to convert it into XboxOne (because the Game messes up the ABXY layout and onscreen button HUD display, when using it with Steam natively). Everything always went perfectly that way, no problems.
