Can't change difficulty?

I looked up if you could change the difficulty when in game but now that I'd like to change it I cannot. is this a pc issue? Stuck with 9 hours in on Ultra Hard... Can you change difficulty?

I don't believe so. You would need to start a new game on the difficulty you desire.

That's only true with Ultra Hard. Once you go Ultra Hard you can't go back. However all the others are changeable

Ultra Hard you are locked in, cannot change it. You will have to start over. The other difficulties you can change in game as desired.

I'm stupid I picked Ultra Hard and now learned you can't change on that one... 9 hours in I'm stuck I guess

You are not stupid. You challenge yourself. Thats a very good trait to have.

You cannot change difficulty if set on Ultra Hard at the beginning. There is a note telling you exactly this before you click to proceed with the new game ;-)

My plan is Hard then NG+ Ultra Hard when i know the game better has goodie gear coz we most deffo need it.

Oops.. you selected the "Give Me God of War" difficulty :D You can't change this on this game slot :( You can change all the others though :P (Story/Normal/Hard and even make Custom Ones).
