Weapon Comparison at merchants does not function

I just wanted to compare the new Sharpshot Bow, unlocked from my first merchant, with my currently equipped (starting) bow.
The "Currently Equipped" tab cannot be changed. The bow is being compared to my Frost Blastlings.
The only way to compare it, instead of arrows (circling through equipped weapons) is to unequip all the weapons and leave only the bow.

Guess i should have waited at least 6 months till all bugs were dealt with...

Well, it's been four months since this post, and they still haven't fixed the issue.

I haven't had any issues comparing weapons when looking at a merchant's offerings. What does tick me off is the amount of bows that are pretty much the same. It takes forever to try to sort out if my current bow is good enough or if a bow for sale by a merchant is just a little bit better. I currently have 5 or 6 bows on my weapon wheel and get completely overwhelmed when in the middle of battle and trying to figure out which one to use. I have one that does more damage from stealth, one that shoots either plain or fire arrows, one that shoots frost arrows, one that deals more tear damage and then I think I have a second one that is a fire bow with different damage ratings.

It works perfectly fine for me... I can compare it to any weapon I have equipped.

I figured it out, when you want to compare a weapon from a seller you need to press A or D to change the weapon that being compared to it. silly me😋
