Changing Resolution doesn't improve games performance
My specs are: Intel i7 10700k, RTX 3090, 32gb ram running at 4k

Playing at 4k at max settings I get around 42fps

I decided to plug my 1440p monitor, and the fps stayed the same at around 44fps

I then changed the resolution in the settings down to 720p and still the performance was exactly the same. Turning on DLSS barely makes a difference - it adds around 2-5fps regardless of the resolution.

Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Non wired PLaystation Controllers have been causing low FPS in this game if your using one.

I've seen other posts about that but I'm just using mouse and keyboard

That has already been fixed.

Setting Reflex to "On + Bost" currently causes the frame rate to drop while the GPU is being underutilized, in which case lowering the resolution or upscaling factor doesn't affect fps.

Sadly that doesn't appear to be my issue. I'm using a mouse and keyboard and I also have that option disabled - still however, changing resolution makes almost no difference to my fps

Literally getting a locked 165 FPS with the below settings with manohud(kind of a Linux version of afterburner) set to a locked 165FPS Mailbox Vsync(renders the game without a FPS limit, but only sends the images to the monitor according to the refresh rate).

Im running Linux as you can guess but you all should be able to get something similar going with MSI Afterburner or some other tool, it has a way to lock the FPS.

Practically same set up as you and noticing the same. I see vids on you tube with 3080’s playing at 4k with more fps than me at 1440p. I’ve tried everything .. the game just is t smooth for me and I can’t play it. Such a shame

It's kinda weird. I can turn everything to the bare minimum and still get less than 60 fps.
