It's a common enough problem with games on 32:9 aspect ratio monitors. Often the game itself is fine, but certain HUD and UI elements will not quite work as intended. In this particular context, the map screen is shown in 16:9 aspect ratio in the middle of the monitor (which is fine, I don't need an ultrawide map) but the actual interactable elements get stretched to 32:9.
So if I want to fast travel to a bonfire to the left of where I have the map centered, I'll have to move the mouse further -past- that bonfire icon to find the actual interactable element that lets me mark, pathfind or fast travel etc.
So far though, it's the only 32:9 issue I've found which is frankly excellent. Usually there's a lot more in terms of field of view, zoom, warping and fishlensing etc etc, so I'm very happy about how Forbidden West is supporting 32:9 gaming. Even the HUD and such is nicely placed around the center so I don't have to damn near turn my head to see my health or whatever.
This thread was mostly just reporting a final little issue that would be nice to see fixed, but is hardly a dealbreaker. Big kudos to the porters in this regard.
