For me in personal this would be a no because I don't want to enjoy such technic firework games like a slideshow in medieval resolution.
So just think about how you want to enjoy this game and maybe a console is a better option for you, if the pc hardware is too old/weak.
Or you could save 500 bucks twice and get a decent Video card, depending on your other specs of your rig of course
In fact, my i7-7700k is the bigger bottleneck it seems.
Either way, once again the 1080 is proven to be a titan for its time. 8 years after purchase and I can still use it for playing the most modern games in 4k. Though without upscaling tech that wouldn't have been possible.
