Keyboard: sprint + jump not working, no long jumps possible

you can't sprint and jump, thus long jumps are not possible with keyboard.
I'm using a Dell KB216, Wired, Multimedia keyboard

Same here. But you can bind an additional button for jump (I used a button on a mouse) and it will work with sprint.
Still annoying as hell...

Strange, it works straight out of the box for me. Sounds like it's your keyboard or software that doesn't allow certain simultaneous inputs. I would test it on another keyboard and see if that'd sort it.

I sprint with shift, jump with space, all long jumps working fine.

Define: not working. Does the sprint come to a sudden halt just as you are about to press Space?
Have you tried setting sprint toggle in the settings?

When walking etc space creates a jump, grapple jump etc is fine. When sprinting space does not create a jump. Weird, works in pretty much every other FPS game. Will play with toggle sprint and walk.

I know that certain types of keyboards can only register max 2 or 3 simultaneous key presses at the same time. google 'key rollover'

You may need to set sprint to toggle as a workaround

I have googled that keyboard, and it is definitely a problem with it, and not the game

predator keyboard has the same problem...will try to bind a diff key or maybe just get a new keyboard... any suggestions?

did a rollover test and using space didn't work... but the keyboard will take up to 6 keys at once....will try to assign another key..very frustrating :}

Garbage keyboards for office use and cheap knockoffs that can't handle multiple inputs. Buy a proper gaming one from a reputable company.

Aloy's long jumps are erratic once you get the grapple and glider - still I use, w Lshift and jump together - she will do one of 3 things to get across - grapple, glide & (sometimes) make the jump- it's not ideal but she mostly gets there

Suggests there's an issue with your keyboard or its software (if it uses any), works perfectly for me on my Corsair mechanical keyboard.

i assigned the tilde (sometimes called the grave) key as secondary jump and it works all the time with sprint. not ideal but it solved the problem
