Black screen bug

Hello.
I have a black screen bug in the interludum when I have to access the bench to upgrade the new spear that was given to me by the king of sun. After I talked with all my friends I'm approaching the bench and screen goes black when I access it. Music is still playing in the background. Can't do anything but close the game via task manager. Used bench before without issues. Any fix?

I managed to solve it by trial and error. It appears that, even if you're not cheating, having more than 5 Health Potions (the genuine potions, not herbal healing) can cause the game to remain stuck on a black screen. It seems to be more of an accident that it also occurs if you DON'T cheat items into your inventory.

You are like me. I'm playing with the game screen. I have to press out of the game with a hotkey. When I enter a new game, the game is frozen, the screen is black 😭😭
