Low volume dialogue
Anyone knows a workaround for now? Dialogue volume is set to max and still any other noise is really loud making it impossible to hear the voice lines.

I tried lowering the music and effects volume but voice still too quiet

All the Game-Ports from sony have this Audioproblem.

Google for FXSounds, this Audiosoftware with the right settings in it will fix the horrible low volume Voices in Sony-Ports for PC.

Quality of your speakers or headphones possibly. Impedence of these speakers makes a great deal of difference. The higher it is the more it takes to drive them

There not testing it on your PC..with your headphones. Which might have costed $4 at the local gas station.

What about my $9000 B&W 800 series loudspeakers? And my headphones were several hundred dollars (Sony XM3s)

try out different audio settings for audio output on your audio drivers like stereo, 2.1, 5.1. etc. maybe that could help

And your trying to drive that with a PC audio output..If it doesn't go to an amplifier first forget it.

Playing the audio through HDMI from the graphics card into a Denon AV and all I find my self saying repeatedly is "What did you just say". it's annoying because generally she's giving tips

Just downloaded and this fixed my problem, thank you so much!
I've chosen the gaming option preset and it made the dialogue volume a lot louder.

Once again thank you a lot

Yes, I have the knowledge and I'm into audio enough to spend the money on B&W 800 series speakers but yet I try to run them from the headphone jack of a iPod directly to the speakers. Theory definitely checks out. :steammocking:

Something like this happens to me all very often because of cable with stereo jack on both sides. If jack does is not plugged well or is not manufactured perfectly, it causes connection between left a right channel and strangely it causes muting sounds or speech, but music plays normally.
