It’s turning out to be Starfield 2 not DD2. Hardly competition
Its a single player game with no more content to release and no servers to support. There literally is no rush to play it. You can play both. Sony can easily play the long game.
Capcom also doesn't like mods because those tend to cut into microtransaction sales so they consider them cheats which actually means they feel cheated of of microtransaction sales ......
Exactly. PC platform generally has longer tail sales(& discounts) than consoles. And considering this franchise has competed with zelda, elden ring & now DD2 & still be so successful. I would say pretty well done.
