2-3 hrs in & this already looks like a fantastic sequel & upgrade in every way. Performance is also solid. But you would want more than 8gb Vram if would want to play at 1800p ps5 equivalent settings. PS5 has 10gb.

Sony´s PC strategy guy is just not very smart. Releasing a 2 year old RPG one day before the most anticipated RPG of this quarter is just bound to fail.

Its a single player game with no more content to release and no servers to support. There literally is no rush to play it. You can play both. Sony can easily play the long game.

besides the Playstation 4 + 5 sales alone will have made enough money to make this port and still being very profitable, so every copy sold on PC ist just raw money coming to Sony,

Dragonpunk 1077 looks like another overhyped mess that failed to deliver ...... Not really into JRPGs anyway because they always overdo the lighting and particle effects which were cool 15-20 years ago but in recent years I just find annoying ..... and the usual load of microtransactions that usually indicate a game is grindy and the economy is out of balance to promote microtransaction sales

Capcom also doesn't like mods because those tend to cut into microtransaction sales so they consider them cheats which actually means they feel cheated of of microtransaction sales ......

Exactly. PC platform generally has longer tail sales(& discounts) than consoles. And considering this franchise has competed with zelda, elden ring & now DD2 & still be so successful. I would say pretty well done.
