Can't start Machine strike tutorial

Hey everyone,

So I am running in a bit of a problem: Want to start the machine strike tutorial, but I can't. I have talked to Salma but the quest still tells me to talk to her. Did someone else run into this problem?

Yes. I wasn't able to find a solution other than to quit and reload an earlier auto save from just before sitting down. After that, clicking on the tutorial button worked for me.

Same. I'll just wait if they fix it.
EDIT: Or not. Try Space key to select it. I don't think it worked before (uncertain) but after talking with certain another character in the room, went back to Salma and Space worked to select it.

Had the same issue. I quit to main menu, clicked continue, talk to Salma, click beginner tutorial again WITHOUT clicking anything else and it worked for me. For some reason if I click on the square that shows what 2 pieces she was using, it wouldn't let me click on anything else. After doing that I did the rest of her challenges and the next persons without issue. I'm using mouse and keyboard so I'm assuming me changing key binds might have messed with something but I'm not sure.

Adding to what Joe Pro is saying, but no need to quit the game. Just stand up and then talk to Salma again. Only click the beginners tutorial button, and the button that comes underneath it, if you click the set button that bugs it out.

For me, the thing that is confusing is that there is nothing on the screen to show what button to hit to start the game, so it looks like it is stuck. Hitting space worked for me.

This is the correct solution. The tutorial is VERY rigidly coded, and if you click *anything else* it just goes into a dead-end. Click "Beginner Tutorial" then "Beginner Set" and absolutely nothing else.

yep, this seems to be the answer. Menu bugs out if you click on anything other than "Beginner's Set" first. Exiting the screen and starting the conversation again fixed it. Thanks!
