How much do we have to wait for this game to get on sale?

Don't get me wrong, I want to play this game as much as everyone else these forums, but $60 for a 2 years old game, in an unreal economy like what we're experiencing nowadays, at least in my case, you just can't spend money like that.
Please think a little more on people who lives in countries with weaker economies and consider using regional pricing.

Edit: Also, the reason why I'm wanting to buy is to support Sony releases on PC.

Is 6 months too long for you to wait? If too long, buy now. If not too long, add it to your wishlist and you will get notified when it goes on sale.

There is nothing wrong with waiting. Don't give in to FOMO if you don't want to. The game will still be here in 6 months, and in a year, and in 3 years, etc.

(The older game Horizon Zero Dawn I think tended to go on sale 2 or 3 times a year. This game will probably do the same.)

Depends how much of a sale you are after. I mean if you go to a authorized reseller like fanatical you can get 17% off right now with their 17% off code or 24% from cdkeys if you want a grey market seller.

Definitely not true. I bought Zero Dawn for 22% off during the Winter Sale 2020 so it was already on sale that same year of its PC release.

EDIT: And another 3 months later, on April 1st, 2021, it was already down 40% for a Steam weekend deal ($29.99).

No, you're right. I don't really care, but there's definitely something wrong in the steamdb.info database. I've now also checked my account details to see when I bought my Horizon Zero Dawn. That was on April 4, 2021 for €29.99. So already in the sale. So Horizon Forbidden West could actually be included in this year's autumn or Christmas sale.

Good tip. 59.99€ with code:FANATICAL17 only just under 50€. And I've never had a problem with Fanatical.
