double tapping key dodge

Is there any way to turn off the dodging by double tapping w a s or d, i like dodging with control like it says in the settings but when im just running around and accidentally double tap a movement key i roll when i dont intend to do so. It's a very annoying thing for me.

I'm kinda stupid so i'll leave the comment for the next guy. It is not under the remapping section. Settings - mouse and keyboard - scroll down. Took me a lot longer than 5 seconds but i did finally find it XD

Jesus, double tap dodge is cancer. I'm on a narrow cliff trying to adjust myself to line myself up to pick up an item and Aloy rolls right off the cliff

I’m saying! Climbing up this tower & kept rolling off all the way back down and several times because I tap for better precise movement and I don’t think the devs play that way 🤣

The feature to turn off "Double Tap to Dodge" is easily overlooked. To reiterate what others have already explained, go to "Settings" then "Mouse & Keyboard," scroll down to "Double Tap to Dodge," and select "Off." Do not enter the Mouse and Keyboard Remapping page because you will not find it there. I want to make sure the instructions are clear because I agree with everyone else; it is difficult to find if you don't realize you can scroll on the page where the feature is located.

It's a damn shame people can't be helpful without being a ♥♥♥♥ about it. You could have saved yourself some time and just not responded at all.

For me its a simple FACT that the buttons are not correctly described ingame and or working as described..
Also the option to change the layout of the buttons is a flop. It does not work.
Changing ammo? Makes Alloy do a roll on the ground instead of shooting. Litterly have to choose the proper arrow again to make the change happen.

Double tapping W to try to inch close enough to a trap to disarm it then subsequently rolling into it and setting it off pissed me off so much that I quit the game in the tutorial. I remapped most controls but I never saw this setting. Ill look again, Thanks.
