Best HDR settings? I have an LG C2
Was looking for a good baseline for HDR settings, is the default good?

HDR seems to be bugged at the moment. Peak brightness setting has no effect, so you need to set the paper white to whatever your peak brightness is to get bright highlights, but as that raises the entire picture level, you mostly just get a very bright, but very flat picture by doing that.

so based of my monitior which is the aw3423DW ive found.
paper white 160
HDR 860 to be the sweet spot. try paper white 160 for yourself and fiddle with the hdr luminense

if you find the game too bright or with "white" lines, try to set in the general option the ATH vignetting ON... :)

Before playing with in-game hdr settings go in your nvidia/amd control panel set the resolution to 10-bit RGB (and whatever resolution and refresh rate you like). Then run the windows hdr calibration tool (if you have windows 11).

Oh, and ALSO set the lg c2 to pc mode in the hdmi settings, and use HGiG for hdr modes, NOT the dynamic tone mapping.

you guys should disable the ingame hdr as its crap, and use rtx hdr instead 10000000x better looking....

Yeah I calibrated my HDR settings via windows and it inports the settings. Generally for an LG oled you want peak nits to be about 800.

I have all of these things done, and the in-game peak brightness setting is still non-functional. Only paper white has any effect. It’s bugged.

You don´t need this settings anymore when you have the newest driver. They fixed the gamma 2.2 curve tracking.

Does it work if you change between borderless windowed and exlusive fullscreen modes? I am just spitballing here bc I'm not installing the game until much later after some bug fixes lol

Doesn't seem to make a difference, the HDR Max Luminance slider doesn't seem to do anything regardless
