Avoid Forbidden West at all cost

This will become among the worst pc ports, spec requirements are insane, the game has zero visual overhaul then console, it requires 150gb, its based on ps4 then ported to ps5 nd now to PC.

I recall Horizon Zero Dawn close to release, it had similar indicators before the game came out, overly demanding pc spec sheet, after launch, game had broken graphics settings, game had missing visual effects like snow deformation, texture problems nd more. Performance was dead ass, stutter, nd violent fps dips for no reason, some animation was locked 30fps like hair, grass, it was horrible. Also the shaderloading requirements was a huge blow nd lack of competence from the team behind the port, they fixed the shaderloading after more then 2+years. Zero Dawn was exclusive for console for a very long time, nd they never ever bothered to give pc best possible treatment, despite the high pc specsheet, game looked worse then console which was insulting nd the asked price was extremely high for cooky cutter production port.

Im here to warn you, stay away from this game, its gonna disappoint you imensely, Forbidden West lack luster pc ports is already a big issue, but this game also suffers from woke concept implementation in the game, which is a huge compromise to the overal game experience.

I enjoyed Zero Dawn on Ps4 Pro, but the pc version was the opposite of what I was expecting, it was basically a clear scam. Forbidden West shows also its incompetence by relying on A.I upscaling nd frame Gen, they basically have not done any substantial work for the pc port, same as Zero Dawn but this one seems far worse, vote with your wallet, this abusive trends needs to die, I learned my lesson ones.

We will see. Zero Dawn was ported by a different developer team. Nixxes took over and fixed it. Now, Nixxes does the port of Forbidden West from the beginning.

I hope you are wrong. I realy liked the previous games gameplay and story.
The Remaster from Spiderman and Spiderman Miles Morales was Brilliant so if this game is like the Spiderman games im happy.

For me its most important that i can play with 2560x1440 DLSS3 and 60 FPS.

I made a lot Compromisses in Quality Options in such games. I most start with shadows on medium rarely if ever see any differenze between ultra and medium.

I disable allways motion blur, depth of field, bloom and all that crap.
Set a lot to high or medium and after 1 jear or so after a lot patches i can play most options on high or ultra.^^

I hope it get more in this direction thats the Standard i can live with.

2: how do you know it looks worse than console? And we get something consoles didn't have. Dlss, native 4k 60, or any other performance gains. Plus modding.

3: and? I desire games to take 150GB or more so we can get uncompressed audio and raw high res textures.

It's based on PS4 - BRUH
Especially Burning Shores which WAS NOT EVEN on PS4!
No. It is based on Complete Edition for PS5 and we have Nixxes responsible for port. The only reason why I'm not preordering the game right now it's it high price. But it will drop sooner or later.
