Long story short, it's probably going to be awhile since most games now don't use just one character model. There may be multiple, some for cutscenes, some for different parts of the games, maybe even entirely different meshes for each costume (unlikely but still possible). There's no way for me to guess at how difficult it would be just to get the assets, let alone put them back into the game. If someone has info or a knows if some modding tools are being made, post them here.
Just here to remind you that there is a mod for it now :D
After that, you'll still find an area or two being spoiled (especially the Cauldron), but many if not most ocassions are set right. Really good work there.
Btw the author is also still accepting the feedback. You can send him what you have found.
Someone said it's going to be a while longer before modding tools for HFW are available, once it's available we'l start to see some good mods, for face, outfits, etc.
