Where are the PC port reviews?

I don't pre-order games, but we need to know whether the game is broken or not. Sony doesn't have a good record.

It's common for big players like Digital Foundry etc to have a PC port review out before the official release. It is kind of odd that there isn't one out.

I'm guessing they're talking about gaming site reviews rather than Steam ones. Given there are none it would suggest they're embargoed until release day.

Based on previous Sony ports of their old games, they come out post release from the likes of DF so you will need to wait a few days. Though usually within a few hours of release you will likely quickly have an idea of the port quality from player reports. Bad port generally equals a forum full of performance problem posts after release if there is an issue.

You won’t get reviews from the likes of ign cause it’s not a new game. What you need to wait for is DF.

As of the last time I looked on YouTube, there were no reviews, but we hadn't quite reached 24 hours prior to release. My very uneducated guess is that the review embargo will lift 24 hours prior to release, but I know nothing! Nothing!

i don't remember seeing df reviews before release, they do a lot of technical analysis so it takes days for them to put a video out

It's not yet 24 hours till release, which is often the embargo these days. We should see reviews in about...1.5 hours. ^^

Even for df most of the times their review gets released days after release

Not for old Sony games and don’t forget this is not a new game. DF like others usually get early keys for NEW games. If you look at the release dates of DF reviews on YT for past Sony games on pc and the actual game release dates you will see they are a few days after.

As I said previously based on past ports to pc of their old games I don’t expect to se any prior to release. I’d be happy to be wrong if Sony for this game decided to give performance reviews early keys, but I doubt it.

Review embargoes for Sony's games typically only lift a day before launch (Rift Apart was 2 days after launch for some reason).

Its a Nixxes Port, I see Nixxes, i know its gonna be a perfect port. The only Playstation game that didn't launch well on pc from what i know was The Last of Us
