Plus, i've not even played the dlc yet :)
The instructions are wrong, there is no option to connect to Playstation on the main menu.
But various people do seem to be reporting that the option for linking the PSN account is not appearing, so "something" is wrong.
I do have the pre-order bonus, and that bonus is listed as a DLC for the game in my Steam app. If you happen to NOT have the pre-order bonus, then I could hazard a guess that either by purpose or by mistake, maybe linking the PSN account is only offered if you have the pre-order bonus?
Also, how do we get our bonuses? I should also have pre-order bonuses too.
I have the pre order stuff and it does not appear, so we can rule that one out.
Because my game says "pre-purchase entitlements" in the name when I look under the "DLC" section in Steam. So I assume my Pre-order version is already registered somehow?
My understanding is that the accounts are linked, so if you link one game, you link them all.
You can see if you have the pre-order bonuses enabled in the Steam app, on the page for the game, do Manage (the gear-shaped button), Properties, DLC, and the pre-order bonus should be listed there.
There is a FAQ pinned in this forum with how to actually retrieve the pre-order bonuses in-game. Some of them will be in your Stash, and the earliest you can access that is in Chainscrape after you complete the tutorial. A couple of the pre-order bonuses are only available once you enter the Burning Shores area, which is late game - the Burning Shores DLC starts after the main storyline of the base game is completed.
