This is one of those games that should have been great but isn’t. It’s a chore.

Completed on ps5.
I even bought a ps5 for this game.
Complete dissapointment and boredom simulator.
They also made aloy ugly as hell.

I've never seen the story or the gameplay, but I've heard a lot of what you say, what disappoints me the most is how ugly they made Aloy, and the woke garbage, so I have my expectations very low.

Besides Alloys face I guess I didn't see any major downgrades as you seem to think at least gameplay wise.

I will say I wish they toned down the farming bits though or made them optional.

You don't need to do all the icons on the map btw, if it feels too much "Far Cry" then it's fine to skip the stuff. But we will see.

the skill tree is pointless, mostly.
the flying felt horrible.
the graphics were somehow worse.
the story was waaay worse and the ending was just so lacklustre and dissapointing.
also for some reason Sylens character is just so badly written.
all the things that made HZD great have essentially been removed and replaced with over complicated, useless items.
dont even get me started on how aweful the weapon "upgrade" system worked.
like who thought "lets make the player grind and farm for upgrades for hours upon hours"
like.. its not a freemium MMO
the grinding is not fun. at all. its tedious and in the end the payoff was not worth it.

i honestly felt as if i had been tricked into buying something i would normally keep clear from. especially with a certain groups agenda being heavily pushed. in a game.

this 100 times not every game is for every one... i have no interest at release for Dragon Dogma 2 but in no way saying its bad,, just not my cup of tea with funds i have available right now
