Ray tracing maybe?

No it is not marketing only. If you ever made graphics on computer, and used old 3D Studio v3 (yeah 25 or more old one) with render only and then LightWave with Raytrace, you would see the difference.

They won't do it, it would cost too much money, and they need to pay for porting anyway. So not worth to do it.

No... There is DLSS and you can play games 60 fps with Raytrace. Maybe just not 4k. But 1440p yes.

one is on rails movie game, the other full open world with 10 times more content. What are you even talking about.

I will not play TLoU until someone will pay me for this, so... Never!
But I am playing Uncharted now and... As above, this is on rail movie! And despite scanned faces, all graphics is very nice but... I found Tomb Raider with Raytrace (shadows) looking in some scenery better! And also being open world with survival and crafting and upgrades elements! And gameplay was actually quite different! Only some Tomb puzzles were similar BUT also MUCH harder than Uncharted! Where I never needed a YT guide! Where in Tomb Raider I needed to check some...

Oh and your spec is not much different than mine.

I hope The Last of Us part 2 come to PC and for sure Spiderman 2 because it's bad performance on PS5 and until know Sony do not make Ghost of Tsushima for PC version because this will be cool with MOD

TLOU 2 is also ZERO interest for me.
Spider-Man 2, is neutral kinda for me, as I like Spider-Man 1, but at the end was just a bit annoying, the same enemies just tougher and... I packs of tons! To make fights artificially longer and tougher but actually LESS FUN! And I know Spider-Man 2 is just like Spider-Man 1 but more...
But Ghost of Tsushima could be interesting... I would buy it on PC.

I think raytracing is very unlikely, given it wasn't mentioned at all in the nVidia trailer and despite Nixxes working on this, Guerrilla's Decima engine has not featured raytracing in games yet so it would likely be too much work to implement from scratch to justify it just for the PC port.

This will not be an easy title to run. Those upscaling features exist for a reason. If they didn't include raytracing they know why and there is a good reason why it was not added.... So that better give you an idea of how demanding this game will be.

nothing is easy to run if your pc is a potato you only upgrade every 5-10 years
