Got a 4090 myself which I got over a year ago. IMO xx90 TI cards are not worth the wait because they come out SOOO late in the generation, in 6 month from the release a 5090 will come out being cheaper and much better. Just look at the 3090ti, it was only 6 months the TOP card until 4090 dropped. If it came out last year then it would have made sense to pick it up.

They did the same with the 3090 ti, released it a few moths before the 40 series to squeeze as much money out of that generation as they could.

If you have the money by all means go for it but i'd rather just wait for the 50 series.
It's not like it will be that much longer to go now and hopefully we will be getting a considerable price to performance increase with the 50 series.

Why anyone would buy another Nvidia GPU without DP 2.1 is beyond me. I bought a 4090 (love it) but wont be buying anything until Nvidia gets with the current protocols like AMD and INTEL did with their GPUs (minus 6000 series)

This is false. There were rumors a long time ago but we know now it's just going to be the 4080 Super, 4070 Ti Super and 4070 Super.

2025 is 5090, and the 4090ti is just 5% more than a 4090, good for 30xx or lower owner
