shredder gauntlet Useless novelty or actually good

so I am trying out the gauntlet and personally it looks cool but is nearly completely useless.
It has a winded up of three solid hits in a row after catching the disk. in a game where the smallest hit of a enemy sends you flying, More then once it has dropped the charge for no reason. and it's not even all that strong. so personally I find it a worthless novelty. but what about the rest of you anyone actually able to use it and this is just the rant of someone not suited for the weapon?

It's useful against the shellsnappers especially the acid discs.

It takes awhile to get use to, but using the right coils and ammo against the right machine, along with the proper "movement pattern" allows it to be a RIDICULOUSLY powerful and ammo efficient weapon

ONLY I can anster this question.

It is the gauntlet thatfight my enemies daily and brutally kill them as you have s een. Especialy those mutant green freaks the turtles and Splinter. It is the best. My Foot Ninjas made it in ancient Japan. With it i became unstoppable and killed all of my enemies and conqured ancient Japan! I also use it with the sword of Tengu a alien sword that i made while i was in Japan which is the most powerful sword in the world!

Its a high skill, specific use case weapon.

ONLY ninjas like me can use ninja weapons like thisl. Luck? It is my speciality! Luck has nothing to do with it.

I didn't mean luck in replace of skill. Just not having your gear malfunction and dump a charge
