ANYBODY WITH LAUNCHER ISSUES READ THIS

So, looks like alot of people are having troubles with the launcher, I am too. After spending about an hour with SOE live tech support I was told several times that "there is no wide spread issue". Bottom line is they're not aware of the issues we're having and therefore can't fix anything. The solution? Open tickets with SOE's tech support and post your probelms on the SOE forums, the sooner that happens, the sooner the problem gets fixed.

From another thread. Fixed it for me
"There should be a file in the steam DCUO folder called Lauchpad-user.ini (don't confuse this with Launchpad.ini, they are two separate files). Delete that file then launch the game again. It should force the launchpad to go into a recovery mode that will fix the problem."

Awesome, thank you, I will try that. But I still strongly suggest that we make SOE aware of our problem so they can fix it and eliminate the need for any of us to modify any files.

Thanks! I was having the same problem. Deleting the Launchpad-user file fixed it.

sry guys where do i find the steam dcuo folder? i cant seem to find it o_O

If you have a shortcut to it on your desktop you should be able to rightclick it and "show containing folder" or in your games library(in steam) rightclick it and under Properties > Local Files > select "Browse Local Files"

If you still can't find the file, it should be located somwhere on your system along these lines: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dc universe online.

Deleting the file worked for me too, thanks Duck.
