Graphics Update?

So, ive been wanting to play this, and have (barely 3 hours) but the graphics are a HUGE turn off for me. Ive read where there was supposed to be an update in 2023 but I'm seeing this never happened? Was that just rumors or are the devs actually planning on doing that update. I absolutely LOVE the idea of the game and what little bit I did play it, it was great. But I'd love to see that update =[.

Not really I mean most early mmo games have had a face lift it does look very dated.

The eg7 company has nothing like that planned for this year... I hope one day they realize the potential of this game.

this game is literally 12 years old of course it's outdated and knowing how the dc devs are they probably will never upgrade it.

I made a comic-style preset with ReShade. I can share it with you if you want. It looks beautiful to me, but I don't know if you'll like it. Just take a look at this screenshot :)

probably ppl don't know to change their graphics card settings for this game
turn on the FXAA and other things; game looks good with good settings
but it IS dated; i'm just sad they gave up on the idea of further development
it's just 'content updates' now, has been for a long time
basically same game it was at first

and the feat system for stat points, smh
need another way to grind points that doesn't involve solo running old content
or am i missing something?

wow man, that looks bad; i see your efforts though, but it looks low res
my dcuo looks much better; maybe i have some screenshots i can show ... hmm
I don't have any recent screenshots, since I fixed my graphics settings. I'll have to add some.
It's kind of odd how a large IP like DCU can do so poorly at video games. But some of them are good. You would think they would do more though, at least for this game.

Low res ? You need to click on the image to see full res man, I don't know what looks low res to you, the screen was taken in 2k resolution, there's a lot of sharpness but it's my taste, I hate blur. It's clean for me but anyway ...

Eh doesnt not look amazing kinda looks even more outdated but i get were you are comming from, and most mmo's that get a facelife (TBH wow is all i can think about) are games that make millions a month like wow...

Never played WoW but a lot of Marvel Heroes :) That's why I made this, nostalgia :)

your anti-aliasing is not enough; i'm able to remove the stairsteps, but i do have a 3050; should work on lesser cards though

I miss marvel heroes =/ it was really good. Dcuo is more of a there is nothing better.
