The thing about Mark Hamill, even after he officially retired from being the Joker...he still came back to record new lines for the Last Laugh DLC. Though he's also on record saying he's in if they ever want to do an animated adaptation of the Killing Joke.
And that's BG in a nutshell. Watch the JLU episode "The Greatest Story never Told." He's not some over-the-top hero, he's some average guy who really wants to be a hero, but isn't particularly good at it.
doesn't that kinda mean that he supposed to ? Because it sounds like the old voice pretty much doing your image of the character. For me new voice will always sound like an old bored man but I guess to each his own.
