Storing Items

I am new to this game, and i looked for many threads of this subject. How do I store Items? In the base? In the station? Please help!

head to teh Hall of Doom or Watchtower, go to any wing and there's a bank terminal you can interact with to store some items. The best, but most hassleful way, is to make an alt character and mail all your extra items to it for storage. Careful though, if you forget about mail I believe it is deleted automatically in 30 days.

Just to add to the above post, while the mail message is auto-deleted after 30 days, the items attached are returned to the sender.
