TURN THIS GAME TO A VR
I think the best way you guys can get this game’s population back is turn it into a VR game. Where everyone and anyone can be a super hero or a super villain. Just like the game, Blade and Sorcery. That’s technically where I got my idea from, but if you guys turn this game to something special. Like a VR with all these cool combat and powers. Then people would start looking back into the game. How cool would that be if done so. Multiplayer would be so crazy!

VR would absolutely be another game. Even then it probably won't be mainstream till it is Full Dive VR. Which will require BCI(brain-computer interface) to not kill the users, 100% of the time.

The realistic thing to actually expect is something like World of Jade Dynasty; In-house Mirage Mirror engine(UE3-class): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl7U9lVT4Us Unreal Engine 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNa6so6wRBA Unreal Engine 5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iNcqHrgj8M

People still play games in VR? I thought VR was dead. I never got into it my self of course. This is one of the first post i sceen in forever on a forums asking for VR. =P
Steam 2025 hardware survey says only 1.34% of there users have VR....Ya It's defintly dead market.
Quote from survey for 2025:
Steam users with VR Headsets
1.34%
-0.56%
A link to my source from steam/valve them selfs.
https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey

Basicly don't expect games to be made for VR specially from the AAA industry.

Horrible take. Most VR headsets (Meta Quest to name the most popular) have their own market for buying and playing games both singleplayer and online. Just like Steam. It's also way more popular to buy games on these stores rather then on Steam. Main reason is because you don't need your laptop or PC to play the games. You can just boot whatever game you want from your headset. Allowing those who can't afford a PC (people without Steam) to still play VR Games.

Which 50% of the users on SteamVR only use it for VRChat (because of their save data from when VR headsets on PC were prominent, and Blade and Sorcery because of the workshop mods)

The only people besides that who are still using Steam VR are people with outdated headsets that are not compatible with running games off of the hardware inside of the VR Headsets. And yes, big titles are still being developed and released for VR. Too name a few are Batman Arkham Shadows, Sid Meier's Civilzation VII, Borderlands, Skyrim, Fallout.

Basically, know a little about the hardware before you go commenting on how no one uses it.

The VR Markets dead but there's a small number of people like u clinging to the VR-Titanic as it sinks. =P

Reality is, VR is a Dead market. Save your self the pain of the Reality... Get off the VR-Titnaic before its too late.

Again I never got into VR my self or spent any money on it because I never liked idea of wearing a mask or headset thingy.

Okay, since you wanna be petty.

1. In that first article you published Zuckerberg was quoted saying "Historically, investing to build these new scaled experiences in our apps has been a very good long-term investment for us and for investors who have stuck with us," Zuckerberg said. "And the initial signs are quite positive here too. But building the leading AI will also be a larger undertaking than the other experiences we've added to our apps, and this is likely going to take several years."
They have undertaken META from a previous company and are working to bring it up, this is a new process that they just started and the fact that you think they would somehow turn a profit within 2-3 years just shows how smart you really are. We are in a global recession, and yet Meta / Facebook is still investing millions into improving VR and making it better.

2. You linked PSVR which literally has nothing to do with this. Nor does it have anything to do with the VR market today. You know why? Because PSVR always sucked and everyone with half a brain and two eyes knew that! :steamhappy:
Playstation's first attempt was around 2016. You can imagine how much technology has changed since then. VR headsets for PLAYSTATION still had wires and were a novelty or gimmick more then anything. As for VR goes for general back then, you couldn't play games at a large scale as you can now with large worlds, multiplayer, voip, etc. Besides VRChat.

So yay, im VERY thankful Sony canceled PSVR2 because that would have been a dumpster fire, plus why buy a PSVR when you can just get a Meta Quest and run all the games you need off the hardware inside the headset? Why buy a PS5 / VR Headset for nearly $1000, when I can get a Meta Quest for $300 and it comes with Batman Arkham Shadows

3. Now you're bringing up Apple Vision Pro's when Apple is not even interested in the gaming side of VR. It's literally meant to be an iPhone you wear on your face and the entry to buy an Apple Vision Pro starts at around $1000 and it's not meant to attract gamers.
It's meant to attract hipsters / rich people who want the newest smartphone tech. They don't care about gaming so again your point is sorry to say.

Stupid. :steambored:

4. Seems like it wasn't just the VR people that got laid off at Microsoft,

"The scale of the Microsoft layoffs keeps revealing itself through social media posts, as we get to grips with just how deep and broad Microsoft is looking to restructure.

This past week, Microsoft revealed its joining Amazon, Google, and others in laying off thousands of employees. The cuts reduces Microsoft's global workforce by 5%, which grew rapidly to take advantage of opportunities that were presented during the pandemic. With work-from-home culture ending, inflation spiraling, and Putin's war of aggression in Ukraine disrupting energy markets, Big Tech is scaling back to keep shareholders happy in a tough economic environment. "

You are so confident in being wrong, it's hilarious. Do you even read your sources fully?

"MAN WITH A PLAN" One things clear to me and thats is no amount of logic will get threw to you.
So this will be my last post on this because i see it's pointless to have a discussion with someone like you; that dosn't even understand logic and facts when its litterly presented to you i could even link tons of other sources but it's pointless to someone like you.

Then again reading your profile page so cringe and misogynistic that its even more clear that you will think what ever delusions for your self.

With that, i'm done posting here and good riddance!

You make yourself look even worse the more you reply. You try posting sources that you didn’t even read fully, and none of them involved what was previously discussed. You just reach into anything that you think will save you from the humiliation of what you previously said which was stupid. Go ahead and stalk my profile loser, your profile is private because you have no friends and you spend all your time online and alone. Lol I bet you have a lot of problems in life and this is a way for you to release some of your frustrations.

if they did that it would need a new engine

They need a new engine, just to be competitive to the deluge of games.

Superhero-themed games;
Chasing KaleidoRIDER -- Dating
Glance Hijack -- Strategy/Action
Seren Verse -- Strategy
Zenless Zone Zero -- Action
Neverness to Everness -- Open-world Action
Ananta -- Open-world Action
Re: Aetatis -- MOBA
Fate Trigger: The Novita -- Battle Royale
{There is more, but hopefully people will get the picture}

Where after https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_7HfuPSeiE is fully launched, China will be overdue on a Superhero/Superpower MMORPG. Which will likely be in the class of Unreal Engine 5.x, Unity 6.x, and Godot 4.x.

Where we would basically be looking at AFO/HOK for actual style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssAT5Ya5suk and Onmyoji for scale(basically DCUO's first cinematic): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvSLB8qu_gI If they are going to go global with a Superhero MMO.
