installation takes ages!

is it normal tht i had to install this game on steam and that i had to wait 3 hours?
then i hed to wait another 2 hours for the game itself to download

Yes, its normal. Considering that the game has gone through 36 updates and 9 dlc packs, there is quite a lot of data.

No worse than updating EQ after 5 years of not playing. I got up, went to work, came back 9 hours later, and still had to wait.

It is annoying for sure. I'm finding a lot of mmo type games on steam require you to make 2 different downloads. One in the steam client then another in the games launcher. It's stupid really. Just let us have the launcher at start instead of us thinking we can play when the steam DL is done.

I never had this problem until like GU 33 . In like 30 minutes i get up to 10% download lol . I download at 3000 kbps yet when it comes to this game seems like i drop to 300 kbps lol

My installer is stuck at Installing 5,351 MB of 5,351 MB (100.0%). I already downloaded the first park of DC universe but the launcher is stuck or something. Help please
