If you're a fan of a decent MMOARPG with Great combo system, open world(s) and tons of content- sure then

If you like super heroes, especially DC, it's fun. Tons to content, especially character customization. A lot of it available without paying real money, although I would recommend throwing a little bit at it to expand your inventory/bank. As well as to just to get to the 2nd tier membership level, which is only like $5.

And just as a new player tip, because people get confused, while character level maxes out at 30, that really only means you've completed the tutorial.
After that, the whole rest of the game gets unlocked. Everything is then based on combat rating, which is a continuation of the level system and can go into the hundreds.

is there any cons to this game?
Bl00dy Deadpool Aug 3, 2024 @ 9:45pm
The only con is they don't have a game like this for Marvel. Other than that, I have a hard time putting this game down. They have a lot of content. That content does unlock however after you get to level 30. That's when the real game starts. Also the other problem is, if you're like me, you will make a character, and then want to try out or make different characters, all the time. It's still worth it in 2024, yes.

Just dont. If you have 500euro spare to spend every 2 months then ok because you can be satisfied by opening time capsules buying booster bundles and getting nice cosmetics to make your character looks like you cant even imagine. Otherwise new content releasing almost ever 6 months but most players finishing every new content in first weeks with replaying missions (need to pay ofc for reset) and in a half month the game is dead of content cause there is many players but no one actually want to play they just stand on the main hall and arguing all day in general chat. Good luck if you start playing the community is very unhelpful, developers scratching their balls all the damn time and never fix anything or helping you even if you send like 10 tickets and 9/10 players is toxic af and never getting banned. Also speedhacker players SOMEtimes getting ban and many times they unban them depends on the money you spend in the game maybe idk. And if they get perma ban for sure they buy account from other players who leaving the game. So yeah slowly many leaving the game and its not new player friendly

Despite what someone else said, you don't need to keep spending money.
Spending a little just to get to the next tier is helpful, but you don't need to spend anything. Some customized stuff is locked without spending, but there is still a lot available for free with a little patient grinding (as with any MMO), the time capsules included.

Community is what you expect for any online game, especially one that has been around this long, but you can easily ignore all of it and just play solo or with select friends.
Only thing you would be potentially missing on is some of the older group missions as those may be a long wait queue if you're playing with randoms.

In all, the game is free and it can still be fun. If you are bored and like super heroes, there's nothing to lose in trying it.

Literally That- only I would add, the main thing to spend sweet $$$ on is the Power pack (do Not forget- although it might not say that in description, it includes ALL the extra Powers AND the Shield weapon too, as it states on official Forum)- not to mention Spending $5 or More will unlock you a premium status (almost a tier between Freemium and Member -you get the ability to Trade AND it increases your cash limit)

As for the gameplay- already mentioned, but you Got mix of action- like weapon combos, Powers as in traditional JRPG-MMOs , and a solid RPG system of gear and skills......
Dig in (and remember- Not all supes wear capes. No- some wear tenticles/ rockets/jetpacks/ other stuff on the back) ^_^

100% Worth playing, The content is really fun, you have so many feats and objectives to complete with 100's of hours of gameplay.
Like all MMO's you can spend money which can give you some cool items and help upgrade things quicker. Everything is farmable ingame.
Give it a try.
wascraccn Aug 10, 2024 @ 11:42am
it doesn't go over 500 people playing, so its mostly going to be a lot of solo pve play. should be able to find a few teams to run dungeons. outside of that, there is tons of bots that are in the major cities that just stay there. it could truly be a great rpg if people played it. pvp is hit or miss, you can have some great fights or go against someone who spends money and you die in 2 hits.

It's more than 500. You're probably only looking at the Steam numbers. That does not include those playing on Playstation, which has crossplay support with PC players, nor would it include people playing on the Standalone PC client, rather than through Steam.

Spending money doesn't give you any advantage in play. You're more likely losing to someone that's been playing the game for the last 10 yrs and has nothing better to do than pwn peeps.

Not everything is farmable in the game. The whole stuff is Farmable and if you dont pay it will takes you years to max some stuff such Artifacts / Allies that will actually help you done with feats. There is TONS of feats in Time Capsules that passes the amount of 100sp in total and many Time Capsules are not reachable cause they are always are for a limited time... So if you want feats you have to spend tons of money for arts / allies / time capsule feats, otherwise no one gonna help someone who dont have already good artifacts and you will end up doing normal missions for 2-3 years straight without help and struggling finding people except the last content missions
