What class and role should I play?

So I have not got the time to really get deep into the games complexities. However I would still like to do four man content if I can. I will probably not have optimal gear and I might end up with 100ish skill points and my artifacts will not be the best. I am a slow learner and a terrible shot. So what class/role will I annoy people the least with my badness?

I would also be willing to spend $50 or so at this stage if that would help. As long as I am not spending it on any sort of random system like loot boxes or that sort of thing.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Stick to Damage if you're not sure about your role; bad DPS is better than bad healing or tanking. You can always work on a second loadout later on.

Dps by far. If you can do something like Ice .. Ice dps isnt very hard to get down.. Fairly simple and the FrostBlast even when lower CR is still very helpful and hits hard.

ICE dps is very easy. Also ice tanks are easy to do. Try ICE DPS first and add everthing into might. When I first started this game I started off as a Tank and let me tell you how hard it was to progress. I had to start DPS just to progress.
