How to activate Speed Force?

Possibly a dumb question, but I unlocked Speed Force and don't seem to be able to use it; I can use the flashy double jump move just fine, but whenever I hold down F as instructed, the game just drops me out of movement mode entirely instead of giving me a speed boost. Same thing happened on my other character who had acrobatics: the grappling hook works, but no rocket glide.

Am I missing something?

F toggles movement mode on and off. Speed force/rocket assisted glide are activated with Num Lock key by default.

Thank you! Works like a charm! The skill descriptions say to "hold the toggle fast movement key" to activate them, but there was never any in-game indication that there was an extra key involved, so I just assumed it was the same toggle movement key I'd been using since character creation. Pretty poor communication by the UI, if you ask me.

As far as I remember there used to be a key in description, so it might be a bug which you may want to report. Also you can re-assign the action from Num Lock to something else in the "key bindings" tab of the settings.

Its not even speedforce I would call it Quicksilver force
