Buying DC Cash from Off-Brand Sites
I hope that topic made sense :).

In any case... while playing I keep seeing these Shouts (Advertisement) for DC Cash for outrageously great prices. (hmmm... Too good to be true?!?).

So I'm just wondering:

A) Are these "Real Deals" or Scams???

B) If they are "Real Deals", are the DayBreak Legal?

C) If they are "Real Deals" - AND - DayBreak Legal, has anyone ever bought from them; and what was your experience.

Advanced thanx for any help... tips... etc..

A) It's a scam
B) Well even if it's not a scam, Daybreak most likely doesn't allow this type of stuff
C) I personally wouldn't try it but a friend i know has and she ended up getting scammed & lost about 85$.

Don't try these sites because you'll most likely end up unhappy.

Thanx... Good looking out. I had a feeling it was too good to be true; but I would have hated myself if I didn't, at least, ask.

Again.... Thanx!!!

There are plenty of ways to spend money at DBGs game shop. The illegal sites are a dumb risk.

If you want ingame cash:
1. Sell any items
2. Sell resets (replay badges must be bought)
3. Sell time capsules
4. Sell stuff from time capsules (can be boosted by buying additional stabilizers)
5. Sell Nth metal that drops from the Nth metal detector (also must be bought)
6. Buy seasonal currency, buy the tradable items, Sell these.
7. When available, Buy Booster bundles, sell what you don't need

All of these options are legal and get you the same thing. Only Selling resets has a moderate risk.

I wasn't talking about in game cash... I was speaking of DB Cash. The stuff you have to pay Real Money for, to buy Store Gear.

And WolfO was right... I did a bit more research and:

1) Accounts have been Banned for buying DB Cash this way.
2) There are a TON of complaints about being ripped off.
3) And my favorite: Some of them ask for a copy of your Picture ID AFTER You pay for the DB Money... and don't refund if you don't provide the copy.

The truth is; after all of that; I'd much rather spend the $5 for an Armoury than go through whatever Heck that path would have sent me.

Selling reset is also not that hard - and profitable.

In DCUO, whenever you complete a mission from your on duty tab that mission gets loot locked (which means if you try to replay it again it wouldn't drop loot for you until reset day which is usually the next day, but it depends on what the mission is, i believe Solo&Duo&Alert missions reset daily but Raid missions reset weekly)

So this is where Replay Badges come in play, Replay Badges are basically you could say ''special marks'' that you can use to unlock the loot in any mission that you've already played, people usually keep resetting their missions with Replay Badges for a faster progress (Because if you're gonna wait a whole day for a reset everytime you finish one of your on duty missions, your progress will most likely be slow)

Now you're wondering what ''selling resets'' is well lemme tell you, but first! you have to know that to get Replay Badges you need to spend ACTUAL IRL MONEY!
Anyway, let's say you bought 350 Replay Badges from the marketplace but you really don't need them so you think about selling them to those who need them (which is what we call, ''selling resets'' ) so what selling resets is, you basically invite someone to your group and you charge them in-game cash for a reset, so for example it goes like this
Buyer: ''I wanna buy a raid reset''
Seller (You): ''Sure, that would cost you 2 million in-game cash''
Buyer: *Sends you a trade and gives you the money*
Seller (You): *You accept the trade & take the money then reset whatever raid mission the buyer has requested*

So that's basically how it goes, also Replay Badges usually cost a lot of money i'm talking like 10$ for 350 badges and like 5$ for 150 badges, now the question is... is it worth it? Personally i think Replay Badges are very helpful so yeah but again.. beware cuz they are really expensive.

Anyway hope this helped you understand.

BUT you have to add that player to your friendlist first.

Also, it is a thing of trust - make yourself a name as a trustworthy trader and you can buy all the ingame cash you need for IRL money the legal and ban-free way. I made quite a few millions with reset selling - mostly selling what I get from my membership and I made a few friends who ask frequently to buy some reset. They pay reliably, I deliver reliably - although they didn't like it when I raised the price, but the value is based on demand and offerings.

Additional info: As a PC player you can't reset PS4 players.

All great info... but I'm really not that in depth of a player. I mostly just solo... and I don't even do the Duty stuff or anything where I would need a group. The only reason I was even interested in the DC Dollars is because like the Armouries; and the quick change from one persona to another :). Grin!

You can't buy DBC from other webistes, only Steam and Daybreak Games - all others are fraud.

And if you want more character slots, spending 500 DBC or more will give you 4 addtional slots.
