why is there always so many AFK players near spawn areas?

i dont understand this and why people will log onto this game onto to AFK near a police station or something.

does this game have a kick timer for AFK people?

Probably had to do afk stuff that they had to do real quick that took a lot more time than they thought it would. Or they be pooping the long poop.

I do this often, purely because i'm rearranging my inventory or honestly, I just like seeing who pops up in the area next

It does actually have an AFK kick. Takes a while though, 15+ minutes maybe?

Yeah I have been afk kicked more than once, because one chore leads to another and I come back into to that disconnection screen

Sometimes I'll startup my game and when it starts I may be AFK because I'm away in real life doing something or maybe dropping a load.

It has always been a thing in almost any MMO and i've never understood it either
