Why do I need a Zip Code for Marketplace Transactions?
I want to buy an extra character slot, but it's asking for a Zip Code?
Why the hell would they need my zip code? Do they mail you a redeem code or something? If so, that's kinda pointless when they could just directly get it into your account in-game...

Hell even I care about that. I don't see why they need a zipcode either. It's a digital transaction, not a magazine subscription.

Everything on steam that you buy will ask you for a billing address and zipcode. Digital or not.

I understand. That's the way it is. I just don't see why they would need it for a digital transaction. I haven't had that problem as of yet, but I will have that issue in about a week when I purchase marketplace cash. I see it as kinda suspicious, considering that there is no physical item being semt to anyones address, but whatever. It could very well be tax reasons, but......
