Can't see friend on DCUO

Can PS4 and PC play together? We are both villains and have the same mentor but we can't see each other?

PS4 and PC share the same server, so yes they can play together. However, the server is divided by instances of it. Each instance has a set limit of players allowed before a new instance is created to prevent too much lag. First you should invite your friend to a group (I'm assuming that you know their character name and thus can type it out manually). Once your friend accepts, he should get an option to phase to your instance of the server. Once he does this, you will be able to see each other. The only reason this might fail is if you are on PvE side and he is on PvP side. In which case one of you will have to go to the Hall of Doom and use the teleporter underneath the command center to phase to the same side. Then if you select your friend's name, there should be an option to phase to their instance.

1. Make sure you type your friend's name right. Ask him to add you to his friendlist as well and see if it works.

2. Make sure you're playing on the same server. Sure PC and PS4 play together, but there are two megaservers: EU and US.

Then he is on a different server.... assuming you are both heroes/villains
